Syari’e Counsel
Cik Nurul Iffah graduated with an honour degree in Selangor International Islamic University College (KUIS). She was formerly attached to Messrs. Kartini & Partners. She is actively exposed to Syariah matters such as family matters consultancy. She also attends open court matter for syariah cases and handles the documentations work for syariah matters and consultancy. She was admitted in the state of Melaka to practice as a syari’e counsel through the Commissioner of Shariah Lawyer in 2017. Since then, she practices in Messrs. Phang & Partners as syari’e counsel.
She currently handles various syariah matters as follows:-
- Representing clients to Shariah Court
- Family matters consultancy
- Validation and registration of Muslim weddings
- Application for marriage; guardian of judge, polygamy
- Divorce and confirmation of divorce, claims for spouses in marriage and after divorce, servicing in arrears
- Claims of child custody & guardians; claims arrears of child maintenance
- Implementation and enforcement of orders; judgment debtor summons, komital, changing the order of child/wife/others
- Shariah appeal
- Islamic property consultancy; application of verification of wasiat (will), application for hibah confirmation, inheritance declaration (pusaka), faraid; and any dispute the property of muslim
